Privacy Policy

This policy describes what PredictLedger (predictledger.9gg.app) actually collects and does. It is written to match the code; when the service changes, this page changes with it.

1. What we collect

Waitlist and email list

If you give us your email to be notified when the ledger opens, we store the address, a keyed hash of it for lookup, the exact consent wording you saw, the time, a hash of your IP address, the page you were on and any campaign tags in the link you arrived by. We send what the consent says and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Ledger accounts (when the ledger opens)

You can log your first call without an account; a first-party cookie identifies your browser. To keep a ledger across devices you add an email, which we use for sign-in links and receipts, stored alongside a keyed hash. We store your chosen handle, display name, optional bio, plan, and the calls you log: market, side, price, size, stated probability, times, fees, notes and the visibility you set. We never collect exchange credentials, API keys or wallet permissions; there is no field for them.

Public profile

By default your profile shows your handle, display name, bio, scores and your resolved calls. Open calls are never shown publicly. Private mode (Pro) hides everything but the handle.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a customer id, subscription status and period dates. Card numbers never reach our servers.

Cookies and analytics

We set first-party cookies only: a session cookie, a 90-day first-touch attribution cookie holding the source and campaign of your first visit (no identifiers), and a 90-day referral cookie holding a sharer's code when you arrive by a share link. Analytics are server-side daily counters (page views, sign-ups, upgrades) with no per-person tracking and no third-party analytics scripts. The cookie notice at the bottom of the page is ours, served from this domain.

Technical logs

Web server logs (IP address, user agent, URL, time) are kept for 30 days for security and debugging. Our hosting sits behind Cloudflare, which sees the same data as a network provider.

2. Why we use it (lawful bases)

To provide the ledger and profile you asked for (contract); to send the one email you asked for (consent); to bill Pro (contract); to keep the service secure and measure whether it is used (legitimate interest); to meet legal duties such as tax records.

3. Who else sees it

Processors: Stripe (billing), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (network and security), Contabo (hosting, Germany). We do not sell personal data, do not share it for advertising and do not use it to train AI models. Public profiles are, by design, visible to anyone, including search engines.

4. International transfers

Servers are in the European Union; the operator is in the United States. Transfers between them rely on standard contractual clauses with our processors and on your request for the service.

5. Retention

Account and ledger data until you delete them, then removed from backups within 30 days. Waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or the list is retired, plus 30 days. Billing records as long as tax law requires. Logs 30 days. Counters are aggregate and kept indefinitely.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data from your account or by email. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time. EU/UK residents may complain to their supervisory authority. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising and collect no sensitive personal information; you have the rights to know, delete, correct and non-discrimination. We answer requests within 30 days.

7. Children

PredictLedger is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger; tell us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We will post changes here with a new effective date and, for material changes, email account holders.
